FLEX College Prep, California's leading college-prep company has announced the hiring of Robert Jackson, former Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission at Yale University, as a member of its innovative College Counseling Info Bank™.
"We are very excited to welcome Mr. Jackson to the FLEX team," says Daniel Byun, CEO and founder of FLEX College Prep. "There is so much misinformation about the college admissions process these days. Who better to help families navigate this process than a former senior admissions officer from Yale?"
Mr. Jackson raises the level of experience of FLEX's already impressive College Counseling Info BankT roster which includes former admission professionals from Stanford, Harvard, University of Chicago, Davidson College and USC.
When asked why he chose to join the FLEX team, Mr. Jackson responded, "Over the past decade, I've been approached by numerous college preparatory organizations. When I met Mr. Byun and heard about the FLEX approach, it quickly became evident that we share the same vision. Ideally, education in the United States is supposed to be about equality of access and many young people do not have access to adequate college counseling. Further, some organizations are very exclusive and charge exorbitant fees. FLEX provides a unique model that is accessible to a greater population of students at an affordable price. FLEX even takes a fixed percentage of scholarship cases which empowers deserving students whose families may not have the means to provide this type of opportunity. Therefore, I am very excited to join the FLEX team!"
Mr. Jackson will be speaking at FLEX Camp College Workshops this summer and FLEX College Fairs this fall. For a schedule of events, go to http://www.flexcollegeprep.com/seminars/
