About FLEX SAT and AP Exam Prep
FLEX SAT and AP Exam Prep is comprised of 3 main parts:
Class
In a class setting, FLEX Principal Instructors introduce concepts and strategies. Students immediately reinforce their learning with in-class handouts. Instructors review homework and frequently missed questions in class.
Homework & Time Management
Students reinforce their learning with homework. FLEX offers students the option to complete homework in timed sessions in-center. This allows participating students to build testing stamina and time management skills.
- TA led review session. As reading comprehension and other verbal techniques often take longer to build up, FLEX offers separate TA Led review sessions for the Verbal subjects.
Diagnostic Testing & Progress Reporting
Approximately once per month, students take full-length diagnostic tests to accurately evaluate progress. When available, real exams from prior years are used.
- FLEX Gradebook: Gradebook is FLEX’s proprietary learning management system (LMS). It is updated weekly to provide parents immediate access to information on their student’s attendance, performance on homework, quizzes, class participation and other factors for success.
- Diagnostic Test Meetings (DMs): DMs are available after each diagnostic test with a FLEX Counselor. DMs offer personalized feedback on what a student needs to do to raise his score and generally recommended test scheduling.
